This Friday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. the Relay for Life begins with the survivors walk at the Brunswick Fairgrounds. We would love for you to come support this important community event with us! We’ve been working hard to raise money and prepare our tent site for this event, and it should be lots of fun!

We’ll be out at Colonial Mall Saturday from 10-2 raising money for the American Cancer Society’s, Relay for Life! Bring your kids to play on 5 blow up rides & slides, and while you’re there pick up some cotton candy and snow cones! Hello everyone! We’re excited about the upcoming Relay For Life event on Friday April 21st - Saturday April 22nd at the Fairgrounds, and we want you to get involved! Christian Renewal, St. Simons is sponsoring a team to represent our church and to support our community. Each team member is asked to raise at least $100 in sponsorships to benefit the American Cancer Society’s cancer research. If you would be interested in walking with our team that night please call Brooke at the office: 912-638-4918 or e-mail: office@christianrenewalssi.org. There is a form that each team member will need to fill out as soon as possible, or it can be filled out online at www.acsevents.org/glynnrelay. Click “join team” and join Christian Renewal Church, St. Simons. They provide you with your own personal page where you can send e-mail to friends and family to raise money to meet the $100 goal! It’s that easy! We look forward to walking with you at Relay For Life!

Our Kids will be working on a presentation of the classic play, “Down By The Creek Bank", under the direction of Mrs. Jeri Thompson. We are looking for at least 25 kids age 5 or above to participate! If you have kids, or know any who would be interested in participating, please sign up at the church office 638-4918. The practices will begin sometime in March on Sunday afternoons, and the play will be presented in May. We look forward to having your kids involved!

Sunday, December 11th, 2005 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. we’ll have the biggest kid’s Christmas party ever! Games, food, hayrides, and snow! Invite your friends & family!

Church Leadership will meet together Friday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy Christmas dinner together. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, November 30th!

Hungry? Come join us Wednesday, November 16th at Christian Renewal SSI at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy the catch from the men’s fishing trip! We’ll be frying up the fish and have all the fixings too! Come hungry, leave happy!

December 3rd - Christian Renewal Church Leadership Christmas Party 5:00-8:00 p.m. More details coming soon!

December 11th - Community Christmas Party at Christian Renewal Church, St. Simons. This is gonna be big! We’ll have games, hayrides, snow and plenty more for the kids, plenty of food for everyone, and tons of fun! The fun starts at 4:30 p.m.

December 18th - We will be going to the Brian Center to sing Christmas carols for the folks there! Afterwards the youth (6th-12th grades) will hang out for their very own hayride/Christmas Bash. Youth: Bring your friends!

Cost: $20 single/ $35 couple
Friday night: 7-9 p.m. with dinner included
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Sunday: Church in the Park at Neptune park: 10:30 a.m. w/Dr. Richard Marks. Covered dish lunch.
Childcare is provided for Friday and Saturday sessions.

October 14th & 15th, come be with us as we focus on our marriages. Dr. Richard Marks will be with us, conducting the Marriage For Life conference. Well, the church website is really coming along now! We’ve updated the homepage to dynamically reflect the 2 most recent postings to this interactive journal - this is where you’ll get all the info on announcements, upcoming events, etc.

Also - we’ve launched a new, interactive photo gallery - check it out - we’ll be adding more and more photos - you can view them by album, and you can even leave your comments!

Soon, we’ll be uploading more audio and video.

This Friday, March 25, 2005 at 6:30 p.m., we will be having a Good Friday Communion service. Following the service we will have a covered dish dinner and a housewarming shower for the Morehouse family. Call the office at (912) 638-4918 to find out what they still need for their home.
